On Sunday the 24th of August, four teams of seven students travelled to Corpus Christi to compete in the Tournament of Minds regional final. St. Johns had two teams in the Language/Literature division and two in the social science division. All teams had six weeks to come up with a solution to a problem in the form of a dramatic performance. The teams also had to give responses to a spontaneous problem that was given to them on the day. Everyone had lots of fun and gained a lot of experience.
All teams did extremely well on the day, representing the school wonderfully, especially the Social Sciences team that achieved Tournament Honours.
This is the second consecutive year that St. Johns was awarded with Tournament Honours, hopefully we can keep up this for next year.
